As an intern for The World Affairs Council of Connecticut (CTWAC), I monitored global events and created blog posts, press releases, and graphics for distribution. CTWAC is a local nonprofit organization whose members engage primarily through attending events and receiving information via social media. During my time as an intern, I contributed towards marketing campaigns for events, programs, and membership growth. I created a comprehensive strategy guide for social media and online communication, and my efforts increased Facebook post reach and engagement by more than 350% and Instagram  post reach by 133%.
